BF2 has impacted my life, plain and simple. Ive loved video games ever since I started playing pong. Then I had a Coleco Vision with an Atari 2600 compatible console system. Loved the NES (just downloaded 2700 NES ROMs last night
) the Sega systems, and played a few PC games before BF2.
Right after I got out of the Marines a (Marine) friend of mine let me play BF2, it was Kubra Dam. I was instantly hooked. I couldn't believe the size and scale of the Air space all the way down to the Infantry play. Then he showed me this cool website that shows all of your
stats. Life hasn't been the same since. I've spent more money then I wish to say on this game (hardware, etc.) but it has been a great experience. And after my "divorce" I know I can look back and say yeah I stayed out of a lot of trouble, skipping going out to bars and drinking (alot). So I would have spent the money anyways
Bad Company is an amazing game. I don't like that you cant go prone, but is very humorous and hit reg is great! But great thin about console games you can trade with friends with out buying it or (torrenting) stealing it
I'm convince that BF3 will be Bad Co. with a different game experience for us PC nerds. I'll be upgrading for that too.
Just in the last 2 months or so Ive haven't been playing as often as I have for nearly 3 years. Yeah its a great game, probably my favorite of all time.
GG DICΞ!
