I got a teeny weeny problem.

Media Player 11 library is not showing my xbox. I've done all I can think of, dl'd updates, checked firewalls for TCP & UDP and Live is running great with a WLAN connection to my Telewell modem. I have Win XP Pro x64 Edition, Service Pack 2, Media Player 11 so that part should be in order. Google and Microsoft FAQ didn't help jack, or then I just don't know what to look for. Do I need to configure my modem or something and if I do, what do I need to change? Any suggestions?

WMP11 should see the 360 right off.  Did you go to options > Library > Configure Sharing > Check "Share me media to:" Then a box should go from gray to white.

Goodie. I'll check 'em out later. Gotta go to the gym and then do some swimming. Thanks

Did you try this with the xbox actually on?

You could always try winamp remote, that uses Orb. It allows music to be sent and can convert video formats like avi files while streaming them to you xbox. Its a little iffy for the videos at times but it works ok.

Nope. No help with the webpages. A buddy of mine said I need to go molest my modem settings in order to get these two fellas to communicate with eachother. I'll prolly just wait for him to come and sort it out since I don't have that much exp. points with modems. He mumbled something about creating a home network or something like that. He was drunk as a skunk at a summer house so I don't have a single clue what in the hell he was on about

Might be daft but do you need to press the little Pairing button on your Xbox to make it visible

have you ever tried using orb.com? I have used it and it seems to work fine.

Spooki. Now the X360 was visible in the menu suddenly although I jerked around with the MS MP for several hours. Even the subnet has been like it should all the time. Did no changes to it. So now I can watch and listen to stuff from my PC. Case happily closed from my end
