God this is fucking pissing me off =S. Well, I have Norton antivirus installed on my computer that came with my shit internet and I'm trying to uninstall it to put on a new one. It's not in the Add/Remove Programs I looked under anti-virus, norton, symatec everything. Then I just tried to go into the C: drive and go from there and there's a bunch but there's no uninstall and I don't want to click random shit. I looked on the start menu. Man it's annyoing. PLLLLEASE help, it's giving me a headache.

EDIT: Well, I'm gonna go down to the fair now, check out a band with lots of friends. Please leave me some suggestions as I'll check them in the morning. Thanks!

P.S. They actually sound decent from where I am now (My house). Well later!

Good luck.

I don't think I've ever heard of someone successfully uninstalling a Norton product...hmm...

Try the Add/remove, but every time i do that the fucking thing reinstalls itself a week later, so i just disabled it all.

Add\remove, but you have to make sure you uninstall more than just the single application.

There's a few parts you have to uninstall to be completely free of it.

You don't install it.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Learn to read OP.

Anyways do a windows search of your hard drive for "Norton" if you can find any folders related to the AV program delete them.
If all else fails reformat.

I know, they're faggots.

OP:
http://service1.symantec.com/Support/ts … 3108162039

That's where the uninstall package is, not in the program.  Also, uninstall liveupdate when you're done.

And yes, it works, I was using Norton up to last week, until the licence ran out.  Now I use Kaspersky.

Ha ha ha ha.

Norton... I remember the shit I had trying to get rid of that piece of crap... It's all "No, I don't wanna go. Use me, or I'll block any other AV program from being used, BUA HA HA!"

It's evil.

Well some of you read . Haha, I found it in the C: drive in program files mentioned in the OP, just I don't know which uninstalls it, well I'll go check one of the solutions.
