I was playing BF2 online this morning, and it kept saying "you have been killed by (player name)", but I did not die at all. Infact, I was just standing in a safe place commanding, and I DID NOT DIE!! It also does it when I am a squad leader/member, or just a lone wolf. The "deaths", never showed up on my in-game deathometer, I certainly hope they do not effect my global stats. I also get phantom "kills", when I have not killed anyone. Is it possible for more than one person to be logged into your account at once? And playing in a different server and their deaths/kills apply to you? I cannot at all explain this, I have been playing BF2 since late 2005 on this same PC and I have never encountered this problem. Could it perhaps somehow be linked to the problems I was having before? Has this ever happened to you? I'm sure someone here has a much greater knowledge about BF2 glitches and errors. Could you please explain? Is it just a glitch with the server I was playing on? Or is someone trying to hack my account?

Localization files (the text that tells you you earned a point, killed a guy, captured a flag, teamkilled a sap) sometimes glitch and put odd messages. Often times, it shows I've been killed by artillery on Infantry Only maps by a fellow squad member.

at the top left of the screen. No name to the left, sometimes it would show others' names but mine more than others.

If you've never had this before you don't play bf2 tbh.
You have to learn the rules of the game and then you have to play better than anyone else.

Yeah, those are very common.  Don't get worked up about it Monkey_Business, nobody is hacking your account or anything.  Then again, there isn't much desire to hack a BF2 account these days, aside from hacking for the lulz...nothing to worry about.

Yeah it's a glitch. Once there was some sort of a glitch on a server I was playing at, showed that I team killed people a little now and then when doing nothing at all.

Ive been killed by a claymore explosion, but there was no claymore, no enemy, not my claymore, and no registry on the console or the kill list, and no deaths to me either.

Yeah, I thought it was weird when a member of the other team started a mutiny vote against me one time.

i like the one i use and i had no intention to change it.
im gonna use the same for BF3, if it ever comes out...
