Sauna championships no sweat for victorious Finns

Bjarne Hermansson of Finland outlasted the competition and endured the heat for 18:15 minutes.

"I have been training a lot with my brother to achieve this win," Hermansson told Reuters after he was crowned the 2008 Sauna Champion late on Saturday.

I fucking detest saunas, I was in Budapest with my mates and we went to one at the Roman baths there and i was sitting at the top and my finish mate who has his own sauna was doing the water, my ears literally felt like they were going to burn off. Was like sticking the side of my face on a hotplate without the pain. One of the most uncomfortable situations I have ever sat through, how is that meant to relax you?

I like them. How you relax is by: doing the sauna thing then subjecting yourself to cold then the sauna, repeat often.

First overheat yourself in the Sauna,
then you could roll around in the snow or take a dip in cool/cold pool; or take a cold shower.
Jump back in sauna, repeat cold routine, repeat sauna... do this as many times as you want.
You will feel like a giant piece of human jello.

Yeah my bro did snow to jacuzzi about 10 times when we were on holiday skiing and he got flu, totally fucked up his holiday lol
