I suppose I found it to be a super awesome film, because I went into the cinema expecting it to be shit because I've always thought of batman to be abit of a wanker
I've always liked Ledger. He did awesome work in The Patriot and A Knight's Tale.God Save the Queen wrote:
Ledger wasnt all that. I could put makeup on my face and constantly lick my lips too.
I just hate how everyone bandwagoned the shit out this dude.
Plus, you seriously can't think that you could have done as good of a job as him? He was one of the most genuine people I've ever seen playing his role, and he was cast for it perfectly.

It was a great movie, but there is no reason it should be praised as much as it is. I guess it's that there aren't many other good movies at the moment and that's why it's still ruling the box office. I'd give it a solid 9 but have seen plenty of better movies. It really makes me sad that it is imdb's #1 rated movie, especially above the Godfather. I'm not a big Mafia movie fan but even I can agree that the Godfather was the perfect movie.
Nothing tops the bourne movies. Cep't fight club.

Knight's tale was on after he died which as far as I know was the only Ledger film I've seen. And it didn't really stand out as great acting or a great film...Poseidon wrote:

I didnt really like The Patriot myself
I'm not sure. It may be in the extras on the DVD or directors cut, but the Jokers death scene ended up on the cutting room floor.bennisboy wrote:
How would he die though? He wouldnt just fall, taht would be boring
Yeah, those were about as historically acurate as each other. If I were a mod you'd be banned if you said you liked both of those movies.Poseidon wrote:

It seems like everyone is jumping on the bandwagon and saying the movie wasn't as good as it could have been, it was

Wow, where did I say/either movie was historically accurate? And since when does a movie have to be historically accurate to be good? Good thing you're not a mod (and you'll never be) because you're a total cock.TheAussieReaper wrote:

Someone's got sand in their vagina, and it's not meeeeee.
lol Pos. Just cause I don't like them (read as "I hate them both") doesn't mean you have to be a fanboy.Poseidon wrote:

And that mod comment was a joke.
I would've banned you ages ago for other stuff.

How does one be a fanboy of a film he's seen once? The only films I'm a fanboy of are V for Vendetta, Cloverfield and Top Gun.TheAussieReaper wrote:

So neeeeeeeeeeeeeeh.
A film doesn't need to be historically accurate to be good. There's been plenty of alternate-timeline movies or historical-fiction movies/books that have been great successes.
300 was epic. I just wish they'd written a disclaimer at the start about it's origins...
It's based on a comic book that was based on a movie..........
