Ok so I have 2 computers, my good one is at my house and my oldy is at my girlfriends. So onto my old PC it used to be a decent computer, you know the ones you get from like future shop that comes all in a package deal which isn't a great gaming computer but it still does the job; well anyway it SUCKS now. Like I have tried everything. Deleted shit uninstalled shit and its still a pile of buffalo diarrhea shit! Like I mean it ran way better when I first got it. O freaking K I am done, all I want to know is, is there anyway in hell that I can get better performance WITHOUT upgrading (I just spent 1500 on my new comp) and without reformatting (I don't have an XP disc). The reason I want to keep it is cause my girlfriend uses it a lot. She likes to play games on it too like The Sims and Roller Coaster Tycoon.

I WELL GREATLY APPRECIATE IT!

karma well be rewarded to those who don't give dumb shit remarks and replies cause I know you guys love your karma.

THANKS

Try using some defragging, CCleaner, etc.

'Acquire' an XP disc and reformat.

An OS reinstall is needed at least once a year, preferably twice a year so you better get that XP disc. You can't delay getting it, sooner or later you will need to reinstall (virus or fucked up drivers).

First backup all your data. Either to a second partition/HDD or onto to a DVD disc. Then I'll give you further info.

Yes next thing would be finding/downloading/and saving the newest drivers for your hardware.
