basically im chilling at my mates LAN party with a mate who's gonna upgrade his PC tomorrow, weve all got a rough idea of what he should be buying when we go town or buy offline tomorrow, i just need a few opinions on our choices...maybe some better recommendations, level of improvement the upgrades will give etc etc
first of all his current rig:
8600GT 256mb
amd 939 socket 1.7 (OC 2.0) Ghz 3000+
2 gig ddr 400
An8 Sli
Seperate Sound card
and then the upgrades:
9800gtx plus OCUK 512mb
amd dualcorex2 6000+
asus m2n-sli
4gb ddr800
limit realistically is around 350 pounds for the entire upgrade, and tbh my friend doesnt really want to grab an ati card...
