I was playing on the FLOT Clan server tonight when another debate about "Base raping" came on.
Map: Gulf of Oman
At the start of the round, I and a clanmate jumped in the MEC Helo and took off towards the USMC Carrier. I landed on the front end of the carrier and jumped out while my clanmate got into the pilot's seat of the helo and flew away. I proceded to drop C4 on the carrier assets before running to the back of the carrier. As I was running I triggered the C4, blowing up their assets. As I jumped into the blackhawk, I realized that 4 USMC players spawned, 2 engy and 2 specops. Instead of waiting for them to C4 or mine me, I gunned all 4 of them down with the blackhawk, got into the pilot's seat, and flew away. FLOT immediately ripped me for "base raping", saying that if I did that they would ban me. A short time later I was shot down and respawned at the MEC default. At this point, FLOT had an APC camping our main spawn mowing MEC members down as they spawned. When questioned why I couldn't blow up the assets on their carrier and run away, but they could camp our main spawn with an APC, FLOT replied "Because."
Utterly disgusted, I left the server at this point, however I would suggest that you avoid playing on their server if you want a fair game.
