quote

"From Izvestia:

The Russian news website Izvestia is reporting that an African American soldier/mercenary has been captured by Russian forces. He was captured with a number of Georgian soldiers, whose specialty was in handling ordinances. The report mentions that they believe he is a Nato instructor, and that he has been transferred to the Russian base of Vladikavkaz.

It also reports finding bodies of dead soldiers in Tskhinvali, the capital city of South Ossetia. But what stood out in the report was that some of the corpses were negroes."

If true this only shows more evidence that America loves supporting aggressors.

You do know what MERCENARY means, right?

Whatever status Georgia had as the aggressor is negated by the excessive use of force that Russia felt was necessary to "protect the innocent civilians of South Ossetia (and Akbazia too, now)".

Do you have news from a 3rd party? i.e. not Russian. Otherwise its sounds like propaganda to me, the Russian media is notoriously fond of making up facts.

They are especially fond of it. As in still claiming that their weapons are better than ours.

He obviously doesn't. His skull is too thick to understand.

I was actually going to post EXACTLY that. Rammunition on his trolling finest as usual.

I'd love for them to find a British merc there. Would be pretty fucking funny to see him defend the Brit, but bash America. Typical.

I think he'd bash the brit and defend russians still.

seems my previous comment was too inflamatory so let's try again.

ram;

I don't like you and your ideas. And you like Russia too much, and typically fall for blatant propaganda.

No, he'd definitely defend the Brit, even though he's got a hard on for Russia. You know, perfect Russia?

Just like how he defends the attrocities that Britain's committed but writes them off because they were "too long ago".

Fucking pathetic.

Well to be fair mercenaries have been around for a long time, remember the Aussie captured by the US and sent to Guantanamo? I'd hardly use that case as proof that Australia were backing Saddam or the Taliban.

He was charged with support of terrorism, and never fired a shot in anger, etc. He trained with AQ but that was about it.

As for the mercenary, it isn't proof that the US is backing the war themselves. You could say the same if it was a military contractor who was captured. The only difference in the two is that one has signed a contract to work.

You've got it wrong. He was a mercenary, so, that means this particular American was backing Georgia. Not the country.

Sure if he was an American soldier etc. then you would be right in saying America back Georgia.

I'm calling bullshit Rammunition. Just because we were training with them doesnt mean shit. When I was in the Marine's we trained with Rok Marine's, British Royal Marines, The Aussie's, Thai, Canadiens, Spain, Even the nasty fricken French. I never trained with any Russian forces but I am positive it has happened. WTF is your point? Or are you just trying to irresponsible again with your malcontent for America?

If the guy is a "mercenary" for anyone, he's one for NATO, not the US. Notice the part where it said "NATO training mission"? Of course not...that wouldn't support your argument.

If he were fighting for Georgia, that would be different. However, there doesn't appear to be any objective evidence of that. Merely that he was training Georgian military members and was captured.
