When was the turning point in your life, and what became of it.

I think i'm reaching that time in my life where I have to decide what I want to do for the rest of it. I would like some well seasoned advice regarding life and goals and potential and all that shit. I'm feeling quite depressed now, had alot of beer, hit rockbottom etc etc.

ITT: times where you had to make a crucial decision in your life, and what happened after you made that decision.
Rules: Can be anything, when you ordered your squad to move and someone died or when you said hi to that special girl. Just fill this thread up with your turning point decisions. I guarantee i'll read everything, if not reply to it.

I have to agree on this one. Becoming a father was the turning point in my life. Second to that was serving in the Army.
