BF2S Forums is anyone else having crash problems

I have had problems with the 1.2 patch.

Here is what happens:

Like clock work I can play 4 and one half of a round and machine just locks up. Then I loose video feed. So I reboot and dont have any problems till I play more than 4 rounds at a time.

My fellow clan mate had the same issue and uninstalled bf2 then reinstalled with out special forces then patched and hasnt had any problems since.

I can barely even get my game started, i have to try to start the game about 10-20 times before it actually makes it through the whole startup procedure, it usually just pops up a white window the same size as the BF2 splash screen then it disappears.  Try this another dozen or so times and eventually it kicks in.  I should add this is only since the 1.2 patch, they better hurry up with the 1.21 patch it is getting damn annoying.

Yes, not only is it crashing,   it...     it...     it...      yes it crashes.

Dont reboot, just open and close your cd tray it will reload the game, either click enter bf2 from there, or if your like me and have the exe file name changed close it out and click on your icon.

Thats what I had to do, each time I close out otherwise it flashes like it is about to do the movies, and then crashes to desktop.
