I certainly hope no president injects a major part of their own religious beliefs into policy, anyway. It's not in the best interest of the nation for one agenda (of a religious group, no less) taking precedence over another.

I am voting against Obama. Why? He is pushing national health care, but the method he is proposing is inefficient, will drive down wages of those in the health care field (like me). He is promising "tax credits," (he is using the term incorrectly, he means giving federal money to) students and families who have split, and promising this without wondering where the money comes from. He wants to raise taxes on big coorperations, regardless that those companies will without a doubt raise the costs on their products or services to match, thus transferring that 'tax' to the consumers. He wants to raise taxes on "the rich," most of who which meet his criteria are small business owners, which may be either forced to downsize, eliminating jobs, or go out of business entirely. He, along with nearly all of the Democrat Congress, is vowing to re-insitute the "Assault Weapon" ban, regardless that statistics show that the first ban had no effect on the crime rate. They are also proposing a "gun tax," where if you have a gun they do not like, they will charge you an annual tax on that firearm, freely able to determine how much that tax is, with the penalty for not paying the annual tax suurender of the firearm or prison. Not to mention that he wants, as all democrats want, to take even more money from the people who are already providing 90% of the money coming into the treasury (but who are few in number, and represent a lower voting power) and give it out to "disadvantaged, low income people (who are many, so more votes).
