Opinions on a new mouse.

I've had a Logitech Mediaplay mouse for sometime now that I use with my laptop. Unfortunately, after extended use it's starting to become much less responsive and more of a burden than anything. I'm looking for a new mouse but something that also has remote like function similar to the Mediplay. Any suggestions? I'm looking at this Logitech MX Air right now. A lot more expensive than what I had in mind, but it looks really sweet.

(Note that this does not need to be a gaming mouse as that is not its purpose)

Why don't you just get the same mouse? It just seems to me that its just worn from overuse, there was nothing wrong with it to begin with. And that MX air looks very dumb

I would actually, but I haven't found any place around here that still carries them, and newegg doesn't have it either.

I want to use it like a remote as well, so wireless is preferred, lol. As far as buttons, no set number, just as long as there are enough to adjust volume and skip tracks and such. (so around 7+)

Why don't you get a smaller remote for the lappy? So you can have a quality and accurate wired mouse and a wireless remote.

Yea, it looks sweet, but even a wiimote is only around 40 bucks.

I already have one for my gaming rig But that's not the kind of mouse I'm looking for here... more like something that can be used as a remote too.
