I think there is still a way to fly as commander and still get points for every kill. I started out flying on USMC side in Sharqi. Well we lost our main, we had no commander and i needed a supply drop. So I became commander and proceeded to give myself supplies as needed to keep my chopper alive. At the end of the round I had 40 kills and 0 deaths, my gunner also had like 40 something kills and no deaths while flying with me. I got the 2X bonus and my score ended up at 153. Did I outsmart BF2? Is this glitch possible?
no you didnt.you got team points while commander x2 not the total round score.you get the kills though.
I realize now that I'm retarded because 40 kills = 80 points and 160 after 2X. Although I did get a really high score for commanding while flying and easily took the gold.
if your commander and you kill with somthing other than arty, you get the kills and the points and they both show up on the ingame scorebaord, although the kills wont show up ingame when you kill them. ie:
stinkyass[ knife] gaylord.

And the 2x is your total score.
