What is the best way to get .cda files to mp3?

I'm trying to get all these CDA files i got off my dads cd's to a mp3 format so I can put on a SD card for my car. I couldn't find a way to do it in Itunes? Is there a free program I can use or something? Or an easy method?

You copied CDA files straight off the CD right? Not a very good way to do it.

Put the CD in and rip the CD using iTunes.
