I'm pretty sure it will work fine but i thought thought I'd check before I order.

I currently have 2GB (2x1GB) of Crucial Ballistix DDR2 PC2-8500C5 1066MHz, as in this.

Will it work fine with some Crucial Ballistix Tracer  DDR2 PC2-8500C5 1066MHz, as in this. The only difference I think is that fact that the Tracer has lights.

Both run at 1066, 2.2V, same mem timings....

Thanks in advance

should work. Depending on your mobo you might have to bump the NB voltage to get it to run stably with 4 dimms
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

Ok cheers.

Hmmm, I'm already running a higher than normal voltage...I'm sure the cpu can take abit more though. How much by?

my 680i needed +0.1V. But that chipset is known for loads of problems

Right ok, thanks, I'm sure that'll be fine.

If my current ram is running on non-default settings will I have to take that out, put the new ram in, set new ram to the same settings as the current ram, then put them all in together? (if that makes sense)

Or is it ok to just put the new ram straight in and it will work at the current settings?

I'd drop to stock settings, put the extra ram in, then try to OC it again
