as some of you know my mobo and/or PSU died on me the other day so my question is, will my raid array be reusable with another mobo assuming the disks survived?  I seem to recall being able to create another raid array with my disks and keep the same data. Can I do that with a diff mobo or do I need to get the same model I had? If at all possible that is.

depends on the raid-controller. I think if you stick to an intel chipset you should be OK.

While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

If it were raid1 it would be a non issue.

If you have the means, make ghost images of all the drives. There should be a way though emulation to get all of your data back. (edit: sounds great but probably be an ass pain)

I think a x38, x48 and P45 should work too
