Name the last game that made you go "Oh shit, is this game real?".

PC - The Orange Box (yeah, I know it's 5 games, but I can't believe they sell all those amazing games in two DVD's), specially TF2 for being such a lot of fun. Crysis for being a piece of shit did also surprise me.
PS3 - MGS4, amazing graphics, great story. Close come Grid and GTA IV.

Zelda: Twilight Princess also kind of knocked my socks off between the new atmosphere, overall quality, and that that quality was maintained throughout its impressive length.

DoD: Source. How is this game not more popular?

Crysis. How shit the gameplay, especially AI and combatting are.

HL2. All that hype, I didn't like it :S

CoD4. The graphics (not even high on my brother's computer when I first saw the game) were just that awesome.

BF2. I thought it'd be another cheap shooter, picking up jumbo rockets and killing people on foot. Tanks, helicopters and jets whizzed by on my first round of Clean Sweep. Great replayability, still playing.

Surprised? Mass Effect, was expecting shit and it turned out pretty good.

Amazed at how good it was? TF2, one of the best games I've ever played, easily the best multiplayer game I've ever played.

Assassins Creed. honestly blew me away. the amount of freedom was awesome, but the storyline and plot were fucking sensational. the ending pissed me off, but made me happy knowing more are to come!!

COD4. Only played the orginal on pc, and some of 2 and 3 on Xbox(mostly multi) wasnt expecting a great game(although the orginal was good). When the demo came out, figured Id give it a shot and was blown away with the sheer experience, was one of the most entertaining SP shooters ive played in years. Easily became my most wanted game
