Poseidon gonna be mad...
Also, olol at me knowing the results before you. If you read back a few pages I had teh spoilers for the floor final.
Pretty uneventful day today, mainly qualifying events, GB probably going to slip down the table.
Oshi- as I type the bastard Aussie-land have raped GB's #3 spot thanks to the triathalon and 470 sailing....we'll be back, just watch.
EDIT: got a proxy on?
Also I take it back, GB have the mens team pursuit final so it should be at least 12 Golds for Great Britain at the end of the day, here's hoping no Ausfags get anymore Golds...

Again, I fucking hate the coverage in the Pacific Time Zone. Nothing is g'damn live and that just leaves me in a confused haze. I'm up at 2am wondering if what I'm watching is live or not....screw it.
What do you guys see in Shawn? Alicia and even Nastia are my picks...legal meat. I swear though, if I watch any more woman's gynamstics I'm turning into a pedo...

I'm not supposed to be have an opinion about this *cough*, what do you think about the Russian girl, Semenova?
I dunno, any russian girl with "semen" in her name slightly appeals to me..TrueMusou wrote:

Any other way? I want to watch floor final but no fucking way to watch olympics live in guatemala (they show cycling instead of gymnastics. wtf?)
plus the tv is all in spanish here which sucks. I cant use TVtuner or chanelsurfing.net because those don't work either, god damn. I also never got to see phelps win his 7th gold medal.

The olympic lifts require more attention to form, but the technique is gained when you start the lifts, back when they were teenagers. After that, it becomes second nature and they can maintain form and that's were the strength comes into play.

just saying the term "weightlifting" can be quite deceiving
to Ned, I didn't realise you were in Guantamela or whatever it is, I thought you were back at the US of A and you were using a proxy which might stop you from using that service.
I have to wait until Wednesday until I am back and can go watch everything I wan't to see, I want to see Alicia Sacramones vault, the first one got quite a good score but the second wasnt as good, BBC Sport only showed the top 3s vaults + Pavola going too early.

Lulz, GB get another gold in the Mens team pursuit. Here comes Nastia Liukin on the Uneven bars now.
Beth Tweddle from Great Britain is also in this event, but she has got a tough competition ahead of her, and GB didnt win a medal in individual gymnastics until yesterday.
The opening Chinese girl got a huge score, here's Nastia now: She does really well, dismoun was pretty excellent. She is tying with the opener !!!!!
Nastia will easily win if a tiebreakers judged on leotard design I believe that Alicia Sacramone is pretty good at design and does the clothes for the team.
Okay so it looks like He Kexin took the Gold....thats pretty shit for Nastia, she really is a great Gymnast - featuring in nearly every individual apparatus event. There is still the Beam and 2012 for her, but Shawn Johnsons gotta be pretty desperate for a Gold on the beam tomorrow, good luck to both of them.
EDIT: I'm reading the BBC Live action update and it would appear He Kexin who took Gold on a tiebreak is 13....bullshit. There needs to be a serious review of this and Golds to the US All-around team and to Nastia.
Source: 1158: Nastia Liukin of the United States, should, according to my BBC colleagues on TV, have scored better than He Kexin and they are rather surprised when she only equals her score. Just nine months ago, according to The Associated Press, the Chinese government's news agency, Xinhua, reported that He Kexin was 13, which would have made her ineligible to be on the team that won gold this week and for this uneven bars final. However, last weekend, an International Gymnastics Federation statement, said: "The FIG has received confirmation from the International Olympic Committee that all passports are valid for all gymnasts competing in the Beijing Olympic Games." This could become as controversial as the time Del Boy doctored Rodney's passport to make him eligible for the Groovy Gang.
(ololol at the Del Boy bit)
Also Beth Tweddle should have got bronze...the routine was great and more difficult than all others (if BBC commentators are to be trusted) but she didn't get the dismount perfect. Which is a shame because shes 23 and it looks like gymnasts are past their prime when they are older than 24 (That german woman yesterday though was still great at 33)

With everything going well GB should pick up enough medals tomorrow and on Wednesday to keep them third, it all depends on how the Aussies do
Aussies will crash and burn, the bastards
