I'm from the UK and looking to host a private server soon for my clan to play TWL matches and practise on, and so far the best deal I've found by a long way has been on gameservers.com.

I'm waiting for an EU slot at the moment since none are currently available, but I wondered if anyone else here has used this provider, and how have you found them? Did anything go wrong, and if it did was the service helpful?

It's only around £6 a month for a private 12 man server, so that's why I was attracted to the deal, any help would be appreciated.

We had a 12 man gameserver for call of duty. Absolute shit. And that game takes nothing to run/host. But that was in NA, not sure if EU gameservers is any better.

My clan rents around 7 servers from them, including two 12 mans we use for TWL matches. The servers run great imo, have served us well in the last TWL season, and CAL the season before.

I have considered Rackage but for a 6-month rental they would be almost 3 times as expensive if unbranded, and I can't see how that would be worth it.

No reg (on call of duty, the most regulistic game ever) and horrible ping times for a chicago server.

you have to pay up for a great server.

Unless gameservers is truly awful which I don't think is too likely if mercenary is right about having 7 good servers from them, I can't see how it's worth paying 3 times as much for a different brand.

The clan is quite small so money is important.
