Hows it a rip off, they openly acknowledge him (Yahtzee) and make subtle in-jokes to Zero Punctuation. They even imitate his voice mannerism i.e. the emphasis at the end of a sentence. It's a parody. And at the same time, they even manage to make some valid points, as well as infusing it with a distinct PP feel.
I thought it was a great episode, much better than the last 1 or 2, probably the best on of season 2 so far. A lot of the misunderstanding here I feel is that people take Jeremy's pro gaming attitude to seriously, they think he's arrogant. What you need to realise is that its a joke.
I really did like this episode, it was well made. Doug's ninja'ing ftw
