I thought PS3's have usb slots? So why didn't they think people would just plug in a keyboard? I guess if you really can't put the controller down, you could get that 50-pound addition.

If this was an 360 thread, and a comment from someone else this is the point where you would jump on them for being a fan boy... and point out that this isn't a thread about 360 hardware, and it doesn't claim to be revolutionary... its just a thread about how a new product is available for PS3, nothing to do with Xbox at all...Poseidon wrote:

No sup, PS3 supports a USB keyboard, there are some settings in the Keyboard menu you may have to switch, but my wireless mouse and keyboard were supported with out doing anything as soon as I plugged the receiver into the USB slot. (being supported in games is an entirely different matter But GTA4 supports it for using computer menus and the menus in the police cars.
It'll recognize and support a Blue tooth keyboard too, in fact does anyone know if this is just a small blue tooth keyboard molded to clip over the controller??
I would just use it for messages and maybe if I put Linux back on my PS3 (I want to get an SNES emulator and the wireless controller working...)
I would almost rather if it didn't have to clip to the controller though... ditch the cord, gain even more weight rolling the controller out of your hands...
Edit: damn it has a built in mouse too... I remember blue tooth controller support was kinda a PITA in linx, but possible... If the mouse and keyboard are just blue tooth I might have to get one...
