i live not too far from there, it's an okay school although davis is a silly little town and has almost as many bicycles as San Francisco, and about 1/20 the population

yeah i hail from fresno so its like moving to the same town lol. i plan to be wasted as much as possible so it should work out ok. there's always the 2nd year transfer if it sucks.

High School blows, dude. I fucking hate it. Not necessarily because of one thing or another, but it's generally just incredibly immature...it's ridiculous. It's full of people who peak at 16 and do nothing with their lives. I'd rather be in college where people actually know where they're headed (atleast the college I want to go to will) and won't dick around.

AP classes are less expensive than college, and you can just take classes after high school at the local community college if you want

free credits are always better than ones you must pay for, and rushing through high school will not get one many free credits

Whatever I can do, man. Honestly. I don't care if I have to take classes until 10PM. I just want to get the hell off of Long Island. I need a change of scenery.

That's why I included my college in the name of my University- because technically in a collegiate system each small college is it's own separately-funded and individually-operating entity .

What's up with the elitism and arrogance? Since when was California on the same level as Harvard, Yale, MIT or anywhere like that (which you imply in another post). A lot of people get to the elite institutions without their parents paying for it the whole way, it has nothing to do with how "good" or "bad" a college is. Not least to mention that life isn't all about going to University anyway- so I don't see what "sucks" about it .
