Right handed people becoming left handed?

If a person was willing to completely stop writing/doing other stuff/jerking off lawl/etc with their right hand and were born right handed, could they eventually become left handed?

I'd have to believe so, I mean, say someone lost their right hand, and were right handed. I'm sure it would be difficult, but I'm pretty confident that eventually it would become normal. Hmm, I don't know if that qualifies though, I mean it doesn't mean they are ACTUALLY left handed now, just forced to be.

Good question, especially if you dive into whether or not being apt with the other hand = actually being that handed. I mean said person who lost their "main" hand might get good or better at using the other, but does that truly make them "other" handed? Being truly ambidextrous kind of nullifies the argument so I'll leave that out.

Edit I'd have to say that you are born with a specific mentality towards a specific side/hand. So you may learn how to change it, but technically you will always be whatever "handed" you were born. Maybe?

Yes

The distinction between your dominant hand and your other hand is simply muscle movement. Your non-writing hand is not used to such minimal but strong muscle movement (that is, writing) and you (obviously) don't have experience in writing certain letters with your other hand. I'm a left-handed person, but plan to stay that way!
