I just got it, and I love it. I love the ability to pick up heavy weapons. I love the satchel charges and grenades, and being able to put your men into buildings. I don't love micromanaging my tanks, it's a pain in the ass, especially when I have more than one vehicle. Also, antitank guns are also really annoying. But, all in all it's a great game. I like to take it slow, let my guys fall back and heal or get reinforcements. Stugs make me rage quite often, though.
I liked Age of Empires better, its a good RTS though I played like half of the campaign and a few online games.
I love the campaign mode, skirmish is ok. It's a very complicated game to me I wish could just play infantry only or something.

Depends what stugs btw, the artillery ones are a pain, but they are rare. You want to worry about tigers and panthers.
TBH allies are pretty weak in the tank department except for fireflys.

and really the fireflys are just like more mobile AT guns, can't hit the broad side of a barn when it comes to infantry.Machine_Madness wrote:

The normal stugs are pretty nub...usually easily taken out by a squad of airborne or rangers. How those arty stugs are balanced when they're on the tech tree for the tiger on blitz I don't know.
Damn I haven't played a game all summer...I really feel like blobbing some PE with double schrecks and mp44s.

Ye I have it. It's a great game. But I could never really get into it as it's more complicated than most RTS's I've played. If your looking for a game me and my friends will play. Add my xfire.
