hold on midgey i'm sure you posted your gcse results in the other thread mate how does a 16 year old have 2k to spend?

I'd probably recommend you don't spend that much on a pc tbh mate i'd say spend something for instance 8-900 on the pc and get a nice monitor for about 300, plus your peripherals .. £1800 is a lot of money and it won't hold it's value either.
Very true mate, but I have a job working for my cousin where I will be making fair money, and I mean I thought I would treat myself, .

OCUK prebuilt are rarely worth it. Build it yourself, or get a friend/local shop to do it.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

You might want to try out the Lachesis before you buy one.

I almost bought one, but then tried a friends and found it to be the most uncomfortable mouse i've ever used. Personally i have a Deathadder which is extremely comfortable but only has five buttons. Although if you're left handed the options are a lot smaller.

And £61.99/£72.84 seems like a shitload of money for a keyboard. I payed $30 for my keyboard and it does all that i need it to do. You should really consider whether or not you're going to use any of those extra features.

Being honest that system seems a lot for what is worth. You don't have to be too tech savvy don't be put of by self building it's easier than you think. There's some people with top advice that mill around the tech section.

I have used both the Lachesis and that keyboard before and found them brilliant, I may just end up buying something simpler though so i can spend that money elsewhere. I am considering building it myself. How much time does it usually take?

2-5 hours depending on experience, and if you want to do proper cable management etc. And then what it takes to install OS and programs.
