I'm going to have to agree with parker for once. Downloading music, who's is harming, retarded uber rich record companies that don't give a shit about the artists they "claim" to support? It's not even stealing, it's sharing. Governments have bigger problems to deal with other then people who downloading music & movies.Deadmonkiefart wrote:
Downloading music for free is ILLEGAL. In addition to that, some of us have morals.jord wrote:
.99 is too much to pay when I could have it for free in less than 10 clicks of my mouse... But good luck with your music.oChaos.Haze wrote:
Dude, the whole pirating music era was because cd's were too damn expensive. Now they've made them cheaper and they've made it so you don't have to buy a whole album if you only like one song. Is .99 really too much to pay? I'm just asking this as a musician who has music on Itunes, lol.
I don't even like Apple's, but they are superior for certain functions. I'd never be the guy who bought an apple to surf the internetz and blog about how good my starbucks is, but if I were opening my own studio, you bet your ass I'd have a Mac in that shit...
On topic, Big Red seems to love an old fashioned censoring every week or so...
"you know life is what we make it, and a chance is like a picture, it'd be nice if you just take it"
What sort of studio? They're good for music, because Logic is very good and not available on PC. They're good for video editing, because Final Cut Pro is very good and not available for PC. That's it. The whole argument that they're better for Photoshop and other graphical editing, is simply absurd.oChaos.Haze wrote:

What Macs really excel at is looking nice and being very simple to use. That's about it.
As for iTunes, I think Sup says it best:
iTunes is a horrendously badly designed bit of software..Sup wrote:
But a nice design doesn't mean anything if the player produces poor audio quality. I have been experimenting with digital audio players and for audio Apollo is the best.
Almost everything Apple produces is, as Bertster put it, designed to look nice and be very user-friendly.
However, there is a negative correlation between user-friendliness and capabilities in most software. For example, Linux is the most flexible operating system, but it is the least user-friendly. Mac OS's are at the other end of the spectrum.

I don't care about the design of a player. Download Apollo and see what kind of interface it has.Bertster7 wrote:
