Need some video card advice...

its been almost 2 years since I've been on the market for a new video card, so I was hoping for some advice with a couple of options.
I dont really want to spend much over 200 CAN on a card, obvioulsly I would like to spend as little as possible.
I do most of my comp shopping at www.directcanada.com or www.ncix.com , so ideas from those locations would be helpful.
So far I have these to options in mind, but dont know much about the new ATI cards, so input there would be nice:

Evga E-GEFORCE Gtx 260 Superclocked $240 after MIR

I did find this over at www.ncix.com... A bit more than I'd like to spend though:

I dont really need the top of the top, and dont plan on running sli or crossfire. I just want to upgrade from my EVGA 7950 GT KO.

For the new cards, ATI pwns nvidia in gaming performance/money. Unless you need CUDA, go ati. 4850 for cheaper, 4870 for pwnage.

For gaming performance, nothing beats the ATI HD4870 or HD4850. The nvidia cards have the advantage that they have cuda (physx, super fast video transcoding, great F@H performance, ...)

Question though... about the other thread about the new nvidia drivers, will they make up for nvidias current place behind ATI?
