I am in dire need of HD space and looking at it I realize I had a total of 127 gb in a 160 gb drive, which doesnt make sense. thanks to haffey I now know I have 21.06 gb of unallocated space on my drive. I need it, someone help

What SP?

Did you try right clicking on the C: drive and clicking extend?

XP doesn't support hard drives over 127gig out the box, there is a fix for it...

You'll need to download a partition software. Microsoft didn't start packaging one until Vista.

Search Windows XP 127gb and you will find pages of people it doesn't work for... I don't remember specifics as I dealt with it a good while ago.

I think it may be an issue with SP0 install disk, when it installs the max it will format your HD to is 127gb.
I was thinking it applied to SP2 also, but I just remembered that when I build my computer I used my dads XP disk... then I ended up getting my own copy that was SP2.
