Strangest thing happened to me, I joined a 16 player server for the first time in a long time.
Was sniping, ran around a corner and I got teamkilled. At first i'm thinking maybe a grenade, but the guy says "Theres a claymore there...".
Hmm. Glitch maybe? I set down down two claymores, one is triggered by a friendly, and then I ran past one of my own and Bam. Killed me.
Is it just the 16 player servers? Wtf is going on?

yeah i have seen this on different servers.

dont know if there is an option for the servers which puts Team detonation back onto the claymores or something.

It is optional per server, to turn friendly fire off for mines... that server must have had FF on.

I thought having FF on regarding Mines and Claymore put a lot more strategy into the game. It is a shame that servers already step back to the old model.

The mode to turn off friendly fire for mines only stops team-mates from being able to detonate them, if an enemy sets one off and a team mate is in the blast radius they still die and you still get the team kill.

Also there is a bug with the claymores, every once in a while I run over a team mates claymore or my own and it explodes and counts as a suicide for me. And since I play on the same server all the time I know FF is off.

Kobrakai I think if a friendly player sets claymores and gets killed then his claymores will after some time explode....maybe at the same time his kit disappears. If you are in the blast radius it will count as a suicide.
