This makes perfect sense considering violence in Iraq is at a all time low, plus, the Iraqis want us out. I say fuck them, leave them to their own accords, and finish what we started in Afghanistan.

I concur.

Conway has been pushing to move the Marines from Anbar to Afghanistan for a while now. He's not comfortable with his troops doing police duty when there's fine Iraqi boys who can do it themselves. Once they turn over Anbar to Iraqi control (any time now), the Marines will be freed up.

Sounds perfectly fine to me. It's not like there won't be reaction forces nearby to respond should Anbar start to deteriorate.
