I actually don't see the sense in punishing Russia when they effectively just did the same thing the US did in invading sovereign Iraq and backing the secession of Kosovo from Serbia. I'm not trying to start mindlessly bashing the US, I'm just saying what they did is along the same lines and why should International rules be applied unevenly?

Yeah, I agree with you and think that the US should also be punished for their involvement in Iraq but I was kind of hoping to stay away from that. They've already hit the bitches of karma now that their economy is in the shits. lulz

Well beyond the apparent hypocrisies one has to face the fact that we arguably have more to lose from Russia than they have to lose from us. They could turn off the taps and party until the wheels come off while we freeze our butts off.

Then they wouldn't make any money for themselves if they didn't sell anything to anyone.
