Hey guys,

Weird thing going on here... Here are my specs, P4 3.2 HT, 1 gig ram, 6600 GT 128 vid card, Audigy 2 soundcard, primary monitor is a 19" CRT, secondary monitor is a 19" LCD... So here is the problem. I'll be playing a game (either core or sf) and then the screen will black out for a second or two. This will happen about 3 or 4 times during gameplay. Usually after I've been playing for 20 mins or so. Then after the 3 or 4th time of blacking out, BF2 will crash. My primary monitor will be disabled in windows, led flashes on front like there is no signal. Secondary monitor is working, but will only display color in 4 bits. In order to get the primary monitor and secondary monitor to work again is to reboot the whole PC.

So far I've tried newest nvidia drivers, and the two previous driver releases, updated my sound card drivers, adjusted different settings... nothing has seemed to fix it. It started after I copied a partition from one hard drive to my new hd. Any suggestions?

turn off one of your monitors before playing. thats what i do. never had a prob.
EDIT: not turn off the power i mean disable it. U can setup diffrent desktop schemes through nview. just make a seperate one for bf. U can also set it to a hot key mines are crtl ( and ctrl )

I'd rather not have to do that if possible. I use the secondary monitor to show the clan's TS server, Xfire and Server controls. I didn't have this problem before SF and the newest patch. But I have yet to find someone else with this same problem as me.

Well thats your problem.1Gig and running that lot will heat everything up,that poor GT6600.Looks like the patch has made the GT7800 and 2 Gig a must!
