I have to say that a lot of Irish people quite like the fighting and drinking stereotype and play up to it a bit (well the drinking one anyway), then the minute someone plays the 'drunken Irish' card they are up in arms - a bit ironic. I don't have much time for negative stereotypes so why should I have any time for positive ones? It's a strange one, I don't really put too much credence in positive stereotypes in reality though. Each person is different.
