Half those facts were simply based on population differences... They start off by saying that 25% of chinas population is more people then all of the population in America, then we are supposed to be impressed by the fact that if ever job went to china there would still be surplus labor....

I think whilst some things in that are true, a lot of things aren't and are based on lots of assumptions.
While technology does move faster degrees will never be worthless, and that assumes that all degrees are in fields with cutting edge technology.SealXo wrote:

Degrees are often about showing your commitment and work ethic, as well of providing a tangible and quantifiable marker of your abilities. Most of what you will actually use in your carrier you will learn from working in that field. The schooling really just provides you with the background to do that, and in some fields trains your way of thinking.
The amount technology advances during the 4 years you are in school is NOTHING compared to the amount it will advance in the 20+ years you are working.
At 3:51 in I pulled the plug. I thought it was a torture thread video or something..... Paced for AP English perhaps. The video trashed USA and just about everyone except China. The video (up to the hook) didn't really apply to me other than the fact that I'm American. My kid is in private school so he's actually learning. I've had my job for over 5 years. I've taken advanced classes. Finally, whoever the band is sucks ass. I muted the shit after thirty seconds. I'm glad I've been able to avoid most of the noise it has produced. OH it's U2? Yea, fuck them.
