Right, here's the story:
There I am, walking down town, not knowing where or what to get my girlfriend for her birthday (This saturday). I already bouht her concert tickets for one of her favourite bands, but they haven't been delivered yet, so I thought that would be a shitty present. As I walk into a cheapy little gift shop (I got desperate...), I found a little mini-treasure chest:

Now, straight the way my head was filled with ideas! She loves pirate-stuff and I knew exactly what I would do, and do it I would! Here's the plan:
Step 1: Give her a card on the day, as normal. Inside said card will be a piratey note with a crytic clue telling her to look under her bed (Cryptic clue will be worked on shortly).
Step 2: Under her bed will be a pretty box, with a treasure map I am making inside.
Step 3: The treasure map will lead her into her garden in which the chest wil be hidden/buried (If her parents let me ).
Step 4: Inside said treasure chest will be Jelly Tots (Her favourite sweet, which kinda look like lil' jewels...) and a printout of my reciept for the Kill Hannah Tickets, with another little piratey note covering my excuse for not having the tickets then and there.
Step 5: Enjoy.
Here's the treasure map from start to where it is now:

All drawn out and planned. It's basically a shoddy sketch of her house, pimped to be all piratey etc. The compass is like that because after I drew it all, I thought "It would be cool to find which way is north from her house and draw the compass relative to that".

Shaped a bit, ready for teabagging (lol)and burning.

Hanging in my bathroom waiting to dry. You can't see it that well, but it's all browney and the edges are burnt to make it look more authentic.
I'll probably have to apply more tea to it soon... God, I feel like such a kid... It's great
Now, I personally think it's quite a good idea Opinions? I could do with help for the "Cryptic Clue" for in the card, directing to under her bed, as well as any other things that might make it better.
