The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. I've never really had a problem with it... If I am taking a nap, but not tired enough to sleep... whats the point of a nap?
What I REALLY hate is when people wake you up like an hour or less before you have to get up anyways. You can never get back to sleep as good, and I tend to take a while to fall asleep anyways.
I also hate beeping or repetitive noises when I am trying to fall asleep. Night before last there was something random outside that would beep every 30 seconds. So I sat in dead silence waiting for it to beep again until like 4 in the morning with a class @ 8am.
Every time I would start to feel like I was about to fall asleep it would beep again and snap me out of it.

I mute my phone and then I use my old phone for my phone alarm lol. I had no other use for it so I might as well use it as an alarm until I find someone that wants it.
