Lack of experience is exactly why I love Obama. Experience in politics usually means experience in doing nothing and saying everything. IMHO

As if there's much of a difference.
The far right wing loonies are doing exactly what he said they are. Presenting him as foreign, and it just makes it easier because he's black.
And ya he did come from a muslim background. Who gives a fuck.

It would be best if Obama dodged the whole race thing.
Still, so what if he has personal connections to Muslims? Islam isn't a problem -- radicalism is. As long as Obama isn't supporting Sharia Law, I wouldn't even care if he actually was Muslim.

Seems to me, he already has that part down.oChaos.Haze wrote:

Believe what? That Obama isn't a racist? LOLDBBrinson1 wrote:

You must think the world is very sad then.
And prove you dont believe it, you posted the link to the Islamic whatever union. With 57 states. Why do you even care.
I was referring to it is sad that you believe what Obama is saying even if he says the exact opposite the next day. You seem intelligent, and a bit analytical. Yet you've bought into his bullshit. What does Obama have that is so great? He's an empty suit. You along have sadly bought into the hype.Spearhead wrote:

I don't find the world sad. I find certain people in the world "sad" though.
Because I post a link automatically means I believe it? Please. Really, I don't care.

I've noticed his transformation, too. I loved when he was that dude, more moderate. Now he seems too----Republican.oChaos.Haze wrote:
I just wish he'd go back to the guy he used to be, willing to stand up to his party, willing to be the lone voice, willing to be the leader. Seems to me since he entered the foray, he's just assumed the pandering position. He'd rather follow lately, and I don't know how many votes that will get outside of his main base.Kmarion wrote:

omg
I used to love McCain, and still sometimes am the only person in a room of bleeding hearts who has the audacity to say we wouldn't be screwed if he won. I just hope that he goes back to his more "lone wolf" stance, if he were to win.
Its all about perspective.DBBrinson1 wrote:

McCain has become a completely different person since he started running for Pres. As they are saying in this topc. He is pandering completely to the right and none of his ideas are even his anymore.
Of course Obama is far from perfect (or even good) but all in all I think he's been more consistent in his views than McCain. I just don't see McCain as any better than Obama.
Its all relative. I'm not an Obama fanboy, sorry. I just hate the far right wing that has pretty much taken over the Republican party. The neocons. They are dangerous and they must be stopped, ASAP. All this race BS is irrelevant imo. You bring it up because there's nothing left to talk about, in regards to McCain.

I like them tearing into the mainstream. It's a almost therapeutic. It's a matter of taste I guess.usmarine wrote:

i guess it all turned sour for me when people actually said they get their political news from his show.Kmarion wrote:

Agreed... Stewart's first two years were rough, but after he got into the swing of things, he really took off.Kmarion wrote:
