Only thing I'll change it add in a mod chip for burnt games\blu-ray movies.

Its barely even a new model TBH, they jut changed over the design to include an integrated transformer? Not really a "new model"... Closer to an update to the old one.
Still amazing the PS2 is still enough of a money maker to warrant an update, However I don't think too many consumers were complaining about the power cable, likey a design change due to changes in pricing and options with their suppliers rather then trying to make it more appealing to potential customers.... (At least thats my guess (as in its now cheaper, or easier for them to do it this way now)
