I was recently promoted in rank, and I wanted to use the engineer unlock. I also noticed that I am missing the engineer repair badge. I am amazed at how long it takes to get a repair point. I repair vehicles five times over, and I only get one point for doing it. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a quicker way to get repair points?
Have someone in the vehicle your repairing.
There has been some discussion on this (http://forums.bf2s.com/viewtopic.php?id=47482) in the past; I can suggest repairing the turret on the essex, or getting in a tank convoy on a heavy armor map. Sadly getting a a bunch of repair points in a round is somewhat circumstantial.
Always repair broken commander assets.

Legitimately: Repair assets like crazy and hope for a long round and a C4-happy Spec Ops or a pilot who loves to bomb the assets.
The Shady (i.e. Easier) Way: park a car slightly in the water to the point where it begins to slowly lose armor, then sit in the back and repair. IIRC you get 2 repair points a minute. Not that I've ever done that before
