Agreed. New Orleans, with it's "bowl" location etc.. should've been wiped out a long time ago when it was a simple colonial settlement. Or even before that, it should've just been a "no-go" area in general where you just don't want to start up a settlement. Presumably not. TBH, I'm just amazed this hasn't happened earlier. When you think about now long NO has been around (ok, so not that long, but still a few hundred years) nothing has happened, but now we have two city destroying hurricanes in 3 years.
