I don't think anyone is asking for people to lay off Islam, we're just wondering why Judaism and Christianity get handled with kid gloves while Islam has to suffer the slings and arrows on a daily basis in here. I can't recall an anti-Islam thread being closed within the first few pages... to be honest I can't recall any anti-Islam threads being closed at all!

A thread got closed the other day because a guy said there were only 3 Jewish heroes and yet a thread containing a comment that the entire Islamic faith itself is a 'disease' is fair game? It's a bit of an imbalance.

Yeah, islam is the only religion i know of that can be interpreted in such a way amirite? They need to fix their religion to keep up with modern times as every other religion has. If they don't they should kill each other off already so the rest of the world isn't affected by their bullshit anymore. They hate us, the infidels, and each other for the same reasons they did 1000+ years ago. Its the equivalent of a 60 year old man holding a lifelong grudge against someone because they got in a fight in elementary school.

I can't even count the number of times when these religions have come under vicious attack. You just ignore it because everyone is so used to hearing the same stuff about it. I seem to remember a thread serge himself made about how he was forced to go to a Catholic church, and how he was dozing off and how boring it was. There was much more, that's just the part I remember.
