Religion threads all end up devolving into "everyone who believes different things than I do is stupid", so the less of them the better.
As for bashing religion, some people on the forums do believe differently from you and it doesn't make them stupid, however it might make them angry if you are bashing, and often slandering, what they believe in. The slander leads to reports, which cause the mods the close the thread.
