The choice of components makes me cry. For gaming it is best to take a dual core and OC it. You can't run 4 280GTX in quad-sli. You won't need a 2kw PSU. There are no 500GB 10k RPM drives, ....
Why can't you run the GTX 280 in quad-sli? Why use an overclocked dual core when you could have a quad core with 3.8+ GHz? It's more power. As I said, go read up on it. Each GTX 280 takes up 250+ watts.
You can't, as there are no SLI motherboards with 4 PCI-E slots, and more cores does not equal more power in 99% of applications, it only equals more power consumption and noise. Read up.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

So you're saying that one gtx 280 should do it? If SLI doesn't give more power in almost all applications, then whats it's purpose?

I was talking about the CPU.

I believe you can only Quad-SLi with GX2 based cards. Other than that, Tri-SLi would work with GTX 280's.

The wattage of a PSU is not limited by your power outlet, a Watt is simply a measure of how much energy something uses or gives out. They would not make a PSU that you could not plug into your standard wall outlet, that would be a stupid business idea.

asking about the socket outlet is a moot point.

the PSU will be fused in the plug to protect the phase conductors in the flex (1mm²) so will be way below the fuse protection for the socket outlet itself. in the UK a ring main (2.5mm²) is protected by a 32amps breaker, so the appliance fuse always fails first.

Actually a PSU can be llimited by your power outlet.  Most standard houses in the US will have a 110v 15amp circuit which = about 1650 watts.  Now there are PSU's out there that are 2000+ watts which would not be able to output full wattage off of a standard 110v line.

First of all slied cards use less power so the max wattage 3 280's would take is more like 650 watts not 750. Second is'nt crysis one of the few games that is optimized for multiple cores.

Crysis is not optimized. At all, or in any way. It can use 3 CPU cores in some instances, but it will not help at all over a decent dual core.
