Uzique, look again. The other threads were about something much more speculative and conspiratorial.
This is different, as it has been confirmed by the Palins, and has nothing to do with Trig.
I've looked time and time again and it still has nothing at all to do with politics or Palin's position as the possible vice-president.
I cannot believe you're all so delusional and batshit insane that these minor details mean so mcuh to you people. Are you all seriously sat there as rational adult human beings thinking that this topic is
discussion worthy? Some chick is pregnant and her mum happens to be a professional? How many people in the media were born out of wedlock? How many people in the media are related to or gave birth during their teenage years? There's just a huge hypocrisy here where the entire American population seems to discuss this as a 'dirty topic' whereas the statistics suggest a lot of people are/have been in the same situation.
All it seems like to me is your mass-media pandering to an ignorant and intellectually-retarded voting majority with trivial and pointless topics. Of course most of the people going to the polls don't care about 'complex' issues such as fiscal policy or foreign policy- all they want to know is if the candidate was born in a traditional Christian family unit, or if the dangerous-looking black-man was once interested in the Islamic faith. These things have no bearing on politics or a person's intelligence- so why is there so much coverage on something so trite and banal? Your election campaigns boil down to smear-campaigns and shit-talking because the smart-guys running the show up top
know that a vast majority of people are dumb fuckers that cannot comprehend or understand anything more complex than an over-the-fence gossip session. Whereas this fact is apparent I didn't think it would be even furthermore apparent on this Forum, where the American posters generally are intelligent and smart individuals. But as soon as I call this topic as being irrelevant and low-class, all of you guys act as if I'm denouncing the biggest and most important story in the entire presidential campaign.
Makes me lose my faith in the human race, it really does.

RUserious? She's a conservative fucking Republican who's daughter is pregnant and unmarried at 17! If she can't control her own daughter (because conservatives love to blab about how family is the cornerstone of society), how in the FUCK can she be an efficient VP?
"R U Serious"? Are you really that naive that you think the personal-life of your politicians has any bearing on their performance? You think her integrity is risked because her daughter (note: not the woman doing the actual role) is pregnant? You really think a politician with a 'proper' and 'decent' family-life will then somehow miraculously manage to heal all of the problems relating to the family-unit nationwide? I can understand your case against her with the contradiction of being a conservative with some value-breaking personal issues, but you're drawing on two entirely different abstracts to form the conclusion that she couldn't do a good job. I'm going to argue that her personal status and family-life has nothing to do with the decisions she would make in office anyway. You're insane if you think a rosy hunky-dory homelife for a VP will somehow transfer into a healthy family-unit for all Americans nationwide. And that's really the sort of insane reasoning you're implicating. Maybe she can't control her daughter but she won't excercise any form of 'control' over the American public either- regardless of her daughter's personal life.
