Im looking at downloading some mods like N@W, Wookie, and AIX, just wondering would i be able to switch between them like the BF2 expansion packs?

Yes, you can. They're standalone mods that can be played at anytime. One shortcut for vanilla, one for Special Forces, one for AIX, one for N@W.

I do switching between mods in game under the community tab. Makes my desktop cleaner.

so you actually load the game twice. Waste of time.

I have my own mods folder, but I usually use modjive.

i don't have any short cuts on my desktop, keeps it cleaner, deters the computer illiterate, and my comp can load up BF2 in an acceptably short amount of time.
