What is your opinion on how the Republicans are balancing their Convention (first ever to be interrupted by a natural disaster), and Hurrican Gustav?
What are the political ramifications, if any?

Unless they were attempting to bash heads with saliva, I think we can say you overstated the situation a little.lowing's site wrote:

Well, it clearly indicates that God hates Republicans and is telling people not to vote for them.

All liberals must be violent animals because one isolated incident involving a group of hypocritical morons accurately represents the everyday happenings of the rest of the group. With this form of reasoning, we can infer that all Republicans are closet homosexuals who meet for anonymous gay sex in public bathrooms because, ZOMGZ, Larry Craig is a Republican!!!
If you weren't so quick to judge entire groups by the actions of the lunatic fringe, people would probably listen to you more and argue less.Unless they were attempting to bash heads with saliva, I think we can say you overstated the situation a little.lowing's site wrote:

I don't think there will be any political ramifications at all, positive or negative. Everyone (who didn't live in Gustav's path) was somewhat distracted by the hurricane, but not enough that they would have skipped the convention if they had planned on watching it anyway. I'm also guessing that most people are looking at it the same way I am, which is agreeing it was the right thing to postpone briefly, but not thinking they deserve any extra credit for it. Contrary to what lowing and sealxo may think, the Dems would have done the same thing, and would have received the same zero gain from it.
