Yes, that is why they make those cables. Think about it, if it wasn't enough power, why would they make those cables?
because people would buy them.
Not to say it wont work, but the whole "well, they are willing to sell it to me, it must be good" philosophy isn't always best...
In this case I think it is alright, if they sell a bunch of cables that don't work, and weren't designed to work, they would get in trouble huh?
I am sure it does work, I am just pointing out flawed logic, sorry... that kind thing just bugs me...
But you could sell all the worthless cables you want with out getting in trouble, just as long as you didn't make any outrageous claims or recommend something dangerous with out putting a disclaimer somewhere...
Like I said, not saying these won't work, I don't know anything about them. Just saying there are tons and tons and tons of products out there that don't work properly, don't do whats advertised, or only work in ideal situations. People sell products that don't work well all the time, and as long as people are willing to give them money they will continue to...
Not like all hard drives consume exactly the same amount of power, and I would bet a higher performance, higher speed drive would be a little more demanding on its power supply.
Again, not saying it won't work... And if it has good reviews, then I would be pretty sure it does. Just saying base your decisions off more then "well they make it... it has to work"
