Well i got all my new parts put it all together flip on my computer and there is no video going to my moniter. I used the onboard video first. Nothing happens, i used my video card, nothing happens black screen, and then i plug in a mouse and keyboard and none of the lights light up on the mouse or keyboard. What the hell do i gotta do?
Specs, specs, specs. ALWAYS post your specs.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Did you make sure to connect the aux. power from the PSU to the mobo?
yes
Have you tried doing a CMOS reset? Also, does the PSU have a full 24-pin main power, or just 20-pin? I've seen some boards work with just 20-pin plugged into a 24-pin slot on the motherboard, but some system just won't work without a 24-to-20 pin adapter.
It's a 24 pin board and everything runs just fine, it's just as soon as i plug it into a monitor it turns black.
Is this a Viewsonic monitor by chance? Also, does your monitor have D-Sub only, or does it also have DVI? If it has both, which one are you using?
its a sceptre 19" monitor and it has both DVI - Video card and a VGA - Intergrated slots. I'm using both but none work.
Is the monitor new, or was something you already had?
The monitor works fine, the mobo is slightly new. When i plug in the cable from the PC to Monitor the screen just instantly goes black. Like theirs nothing to display BUT black.
